field daze

crochet top | bcbg pleated maxi | diy sunnies

I have this strange fascination with wild flowers and high deserts. Well, lucky me because this gorgeous landscape is right behind the apartment that I am staying at this summer. I plan on coming here often so, I hope you don't mind if I continue to shoot here. Anyways, you must be wondering how I diy'ed these sunnies. Simple. Faux pearls and a glue gun. I plan on crafting more little diy's, so stay posted! In the meanwhile, you can catch me burying my face into a calculus book and drinking too many cups of black coffee.

studded loafers

I have been dying to get my hands on a pair of studded loafers. Designers at Jeffrey Campbell, Aldo, Steve Madden all  came out with their very own rendition of this very fabulous trend. Personally, I find the spikes designed by JC to be a little too much and the prints at Steve Madden to be not too flattering. So, why not personalize my own? Simple & sweet DIY that takes less than 5 minutes!

(P.S I glued the studs rather than studded them so that ways the prongs don't scratch your feet when you walk. Plus, it would be difficult to get the prongs through the leather/material).

(P.P.S I bought my studs here. Try something new and stud the entire upper sole or the sides too!
Or use cone studs or silver studs, or spikes! )
